Comfort Creators: a Prayer Shawl Ministry

In July 2009, we joined with many churches across the country and around the world to start a prayer shawl ministry. Prayer shawls are created with love and prayers by people of the Old Stone Church and given to members and friends who are ill or going through a difficult time. It is a spiritual practice, one that brings God’s blessings to both the creator of the shawls and to the one receiving the shawl.
