us work together for peace.

our world of many beliefs,
Let
us grant our neighbors the right to peacefully practice their beliefs.
For
the citizens of Iraq who have been wounded in body and spirit,
God,
grant them healing.
For
all the American soldiers killed in the Iraqi war,
May
they rest in peace.
For
all the Iraqi soldiers killed in the war,
May
they rest in peace.
For
all the noncombatants killed in the war,
May
their deaths strengthen our determination to find other means to settle
disputes.
For
all the mothers and fathers, wives and husbands, sons and daughters who have
lost loved ones in the war,
God,
grant them healing.
For
peaceful reconstruction of Iraq, a country of beauty and sacred tradition,
We
implore you, O God.
That
each of us may have the courage of the prophets of our faith in working for a
peaceful world,
We ask your help, O God.
For
national and worldwide security based on human rights and respect for all
citizens,
We
ask your help, O God.
That
cooperation based on mutual respect may prevail among nations,
We
pray to you, O God.
That
a time will come when all weapons of mass destruction will be eliminated,
We
pray to you, O God.
May all countries seek peace,
God, hear our prayer…
